Challenge Blurb: | With the increasing application level of material strength, the product shape is becoming more and more complex and the requirement of dimension accuracy is increasing (especially the requirement of end dimension accuracy is difficult to meet), which brings new challenges to the application of ultra-high strength steel materials and roll pressing technology. The first type is the body structure reinforcement. Taking the side wall threshold reinforcement as an example, the main material used at present is ultra-high strength steel with thickness specification of 1.2-1.4 mm and tensile strength of 980-1200 MPa. The design requirement of dimension accuracy at the opening features of both ends is usually (+0.5mm), but it is difficult to meet the design requirement of dimension accuracy due to the factors such as springback control, cut-off opening and material performance fluctuation in the actual roll-pressing process. The second type is guideway parts. Taking the inner and outer slides of automobile seat as an example, the accuracy requirement of cross-sectional dimension design is usually (+0.1mm) or (+0.2mm), which is much higher than the dimension tolerance requirement of common stamping parts (+0.5mm). |
Challenge Description: | Taking a threshold inner plate part (1200MPa, 1.4mm thickness sheet) as an example, roll-pressing feature parts are designed. Through optimization of roll-pressing process and off-line process, the accuracy of end opening of roll-pressing feature parts is controlled within (+0.5mm) Verify the validity of the method by the way of sample trial production. |
